• Our Evolutionary Stage Performance

Before focusing on such deep issues as higher consciousness, expanded awareness and evolutionary development, let us take a few moments to wax lyrical. Life is like a performance on stage, we walk on, strut our stuff and walk off again, but the whole play has changed because of our contribution.

We are actors in a play of immense proportions and, as with any actor on stage, all we can do is perform our part to the best of our ability. We can confidently expect the whole play to combine all our individual efforts into one gigantic and splendid performance.

From behind the bright lights of our stage, we cannot see the whole audience. Perhaps if we could see the onlookers as they really are, we would be overcome. It is best for us, at our current level of evolution and understanding, simply to fulfill our specific role in life; walk on stage, give our best rendition, and walk off, knowing the whole has become more amazing because of the part we have played.

One day we may be in the audience ourselves, looking on with delight and with the higher appreciation of knowing just how the story of humanity’s shift of consciousness has unfolded. But that is not where we are quite yet.

You may have heard that humanity is rocketing forward toward critical mass, towards an evolutionary leap in conscious awareness. It is that moment, the culmination of millions of acts of love and generosity, of goodness and allowing, of yearning and searching, when the cup will tip over and humanity will awaken to who and what we really are.

We will rediscover our connection to Source Energy, discover we all are one and that all our individual aspects are part of one infinite whole. This awakening, as yet at a sub-critical mass level, is growing exponentially in our daily march into the light of expanded consciousness. No one person can carry the whole along.  We work together, standing shoulder to shoulder, looking in the same direction.

“We are one”, says the beautiful Australian national anthem, “and we are many, and from all the lands on earth we come”. No truer words were ever written. At a higher soul level, we are one. We are many human “cells” within the one body of human consciousness. When enough cells carry the light to their fullest capacity, the whole body will begin to glow and the cells that were in the dark before, will burst into light. They will be carried along and supported by the light of all the awakened and already glowing light cells.

This analogy of light held within human “cells” also demonstrates the holographic capacity and nature we humans share. When I wonder if my life can ever have much of an effect on the whole, the answer is a resounding “Yes!”. What happens in one holographic cell happens, by definition, to all the other cells in the entire body, the body of humanity.

In the fast pace of our daily lives we do not need the added burden of trying to fix all the ills of the world. Sometimes we may feel burdened by the pain and conflict that seems to rip our world apart. At any one time we can be sure someone, somewhere is suffering, and for what? This could make you feel vulnerable, inept or at least inadequate to change what you have no control over.

But it is not our task to change the whole world. What we can do is simply stretch out to those close enough for us to touch in some way from right where we are at present. At no time do we or will we see the whole picture of the human life story, until we have leapt in consciousness to a higher, more expanded awareness.

When each cell of the body performs or expresses its perfect function, unique to its own energy and spirit, the whole body will glow. When each actor in the play puts in a splendid performance, the play is bound to be a success and our evolutionary leap will be accomplished. This is happening now, in our lifetime.

Look within and see how much you have changed in the last few years. Your beliefs have changed, expanded. Your inner wisdom is closer to the surface of your consciousness. You have flashes of intuition that surprise you sometimes.

Be the best you can be. This is your destiny, your unique and amazing destiny. You are living on this planet right now because you have a unique gift for the world. Deliver it with love, with absolute confidence that this is your gift, held in your hands, offered to the rest of us in love. Thank you for who you are. Thank you for being so beautifully you.
