• Using Your Emotions and Feelings as Tools

Emotions and feelings are tools with which we create our reality. They work along with our intuition, with our inner guidance, which processes vast amounts of multi-dimensional information on our behalf. This information springs from beyond the confines of time and space, and reaches down from limitless spirit. Our spiritual inner guidance is the source of our inspiration, intuitions and our deepest spiritual experiences.

You can get in touch with your inner guidance system, your connection to the divine, by being still, by listening to the silence within, a silence that speaks louder and more clearly than words ever could.

Learn to listen to this inner guidance system. It is your Higher Self, your non-physical spirit, communicating with you. It is always active, it always shows you the best path to take, and you know when its guidance is nudging you by how you feel in relation to what is happening in your life. 

You attract what you are feeling about more than what you are thinking about. It does not matter whether you are thinking, "I love this and want more of the same, because I feel so good," or whether you are thinking, "I really don’t like this, it’s not fair, I would hate for this to happen to me," you still attract more of what you are focusing on and feeling, good or bad.

When you become aware that you are feeling anxious or fearful, unless you change your thoughts, you will attract more of the same. What you constantly think about with focus and feel with intense emotion, will, by universal law, manifest into physical reality.

So if you notice you feel bad, do not fight against the feeling, simply shift your point of focus to what you want to attract. Here is a simple example of how we attract what we focus on. Suppose you witness a car accident and seriously injured casualties and are being attended to by paramedics. You are forced by the road blockage, to just creep by the accident scene in your car. You see all the unpleasant details of the crushed car and the injured people. There is a frost and the roads give very little traction to your vehicle, and it was these icy conditions that contributed to that accident you just witnessed. 

How do you choose to react? You can see the tragedy before you and give thanks that you are still fine and safe, and this thought of safety will attract more of that protective vibration. You might like to include a prayer for the welfare of those suffering in the accident as well.

Or you can choose to get really upset and scared that you will probably skid or crash just like those victims did. So you drive away feeling fearful. As you now feel bad, you attract negative vibrations that could well cause you to crash or have someone else run into your car. You may say you don’t want to crash your car but your fearful, negative vibration is asking the universe to send more of that negative energy, that crash vibration. So change what you are focusing on quickly! Intend safety.

Our feelings and emotions are powerful tools and indicators of our experience. The more we attune to our inner guidance system, our intuition and inspiration, the more rapidly will we learn how to manifest what we desire.
