• Returning Home to Source

Returning home to our Source is our lifelong path to ultimate happiness on earth. We have descended from the higher dimensions, densifying down into our current human condition. With this descent, we agreed to forget our spiritual source in the higher dimensions and came here to experience duality and all the myriad emotions and feelings this duality offers.

We agreed to experience good and bad, joy and sorrow and all the other polarities we live with every day. But we still retain the seed of our spirit connection and we all long for more, to be more and ultimately to return to where we came from. 

This longing is the basis of prayer. In prayer, we reach out to the Divine, our ultimate Source, and our home. This is the meaning of returning home to Source. Our life on earth is a journey of experience, discovery and creation on our return trek home to the higher dimensions. It is our quest to discreate our cocoon of separation, like an energetic force field, that makes us forget our spiritual origins. Not only is this the reason we pray, but the more we pray, the greater our longing and urge becomes,  to return to our true spiritual home.

How do we pray? How can we reconnect? There are many ways. One excellent method is through meditation, which we have discussed elsewhere. Another is through simply getting into an inner, silent receptive state, even in the midst of daily activity. This is an attitude of loving awareness of the divine indwelling and a state of harmonious allowing of good to come to us.

Higher dimensional access is a synonym for channeling light energy. When an artist paints a beautiful picture, when a musician composes exquisite music or a singer amazes her audience with her perfect harmonies, these are all expressions of the person’s connection to and channeling of their higher self energies. This is also why we are so delighted and even feel awe in the face of genius. We are touched by the divine manifesting and being channeled by someone just like ourselves. We hear the call from home, a reminder of who we are.

So you see there is nothing particularly occult about channeling. All it means is that we open our heart to allow higher energies of light and wisdom to guide us on our journey home. Channeling the love/light, and this is the only kind of channeling that we are discussing here, is simply allowing  higher energetic wisdom to fill our mind and heart. It increases our capacity to hold divine energy, the essence of eternal life. This kind of channeling comes from and is an expression of allowing and connecting to your own divine life force energy. It is Source Energy flowing, as all energy must, and creating as it flows. This is the basic of the univesal Law of Attraction.

Before you set out to meditate or pray, before you create or channel, take a moment to turn your awareness within. Refocus your mind, and to help in your centering process, take three deep breaths. Feel who you are in this moment. Turn your attention within. Place your hand over your heart for a few moments, now move your hand away from your heart, just a hand span away. Quietly look at your hand and expand your awareness of who you are and where you are going. Get in touch with your higher self, the true you. This is so simple. Anyone can do it, and it will calm and energize you from the very roots of your heart if you are willing to go into this deep and special place. 

Meditation is like going home in spirit, stepping out of time into “no-time”. Here there is no past and no future, only this moment, now, the eternal Now beyond time and space. Move away from the sadness and frustration of the past and away from fear of the future and step into this present moment. Use your breath to give your spirit some space just to be. You are spirit pretending to be human.

Your human journey and evolution includes feeling and experiencing every kind of emotion all along the spectrum from pain to ecstasy, from fear to total love. And this is the gift of life as we know it. Live it to the full. Make every day count and enjoy your journey home.
