How do we break through from the joyous dreaming of immense physical, temporal possibilities as yet unexplored, to real experiences about which mere dreaming falls infinitely short? This is our subject here, and if we’re willing, this can be your quest. Whatever your present choice, this transcendent experience is inevitably your destiny.

You can dream of travelling to the bounds of outer space, and mankind may well travel that far some day. You may dream of exploring the depths of the ocean and discovering new worlds and fantastic creatures as yet unknown to man. You may dream of climbing the highest mountains, of conquering both the forces of nature and your own propensity to fear. You can dream of these glorious conquests, but by far, the inner discovery of your own incredibly magnificent consciousness surpasses any other quest of discovery of which you could ever dream.

Penetrate deeper and deeper, beyond your body, beyond your emotions, beyond your thoughts and mind, there is something there yet deeper still. What is that something? Have you ever wondered? When you get to the place where consciousness hangs by a thread of perceptible awareness; when every other awareness is still, asleep, if you will, ‘you’ still exist: you are aware will. You are a point of consciousness.

Just how deep does your consciousness run? Have you ever wondered about this? Who are you ? Where do you come from? Where are you going? These are the perennial questions philosophers have pondered and argued over for millennia. So how long do we have to wait for the true answers to emerge? In this new millennium, could it be time for us to pick up these questions and refuse to lay them aside until we have some sort of consensus on the answers?

If you think I’m going to hand the answers to you here and now, forget it. What I want to do now, is to get you to think about the deeper questions of life; to grow in awareness of your magnificent consciousness. You can cut off your hand. Are ‘you’ still there? Imagine you have lost your legs in an accident, are ‘you’ still here? Now your arms disappear, you are only head and torso. Are ‘you’ still here? You lose all feeling in your physical body. You cannot move, or respond, but you can think.  Are ‘you’ still here? So who are you? What are you?

Consider this.

You may not have asked these kinds of questions before, or perhaps you have, but have you come up with satisfactory answers? Do you want to know? If not, why not? If yes, are you willing to do what it takes to discover your ‘Self’? What does it take?

There is no one path to this knowledge. It is simply up to you to ask. Ask whom? The Universe. There is an infinite Intelligence that upholds and sustains all life. Ask this Intelligence for the answers to your questions. You may call this infinite Intelligence God, or Source Energy or any other name, letters of the alphabet cannot encapsulate infinity. But your desire to be able to answer the undying questions we mentioned above will lead you to the inner discoveries you seek.

Finally, here is a tip: start from the realization that your nature is love. You are love. So in your searching, come from a base of “I am love, in pursuit of deeper answers’. And one by one, the answers will come. And you will find yourself walking paths you could never have imagined before.

Don’t let your life roll on by, only to find at the end of your days on earth, that you’re no closer to answering the perennial philosophical questions. As you make your personal discoveries, your wisdom will flow into the mass consciousness of humanity and we’ll all increase in knowledge and wisdom because of your searching. See how it works?

When you dive to your search, you will discover early on, that life works according to very definite laws. These universal laws work whether we believe in them or not. Those who jump from a high building expecting to fly will rapidly find, to their utter dismay that the law of gravity is real, regardless of what they have chosen to believe. They won’t fly; they’ll drop to the ground with a splatter. That’s the law of gravity at work. It works every single time.

So do all the other universal laws. We must work according to these laws, for they will carry us along in our searching. Once again, you may not have asked these kinds of questions before, or perhaps you have, but have you come up with satisfactory answers? Do you want to know? If not, why not?
